The Desire of all Nations..~
The Desire of all Nations..~
Translated By: Magdy Abdalshafy
After the Babylonian capture, Prophet Haggi gave this prophecy to the Jews to alleviate their pains and sufferings
6-For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
The Holy Book contains many prophecies and glad tidings about Prophet Mohammaed though Christian apologetics deny them. They never tell the truth though many of them admitted the mention of Prophet Mohammed and most of them embraced Islam.
They always twist the meanings of these glad tidings so that they fit Jesus. If the prophecies do not fit Jesus, they claim that it will fit him in the Second Advent.
The translators of the Holy Book are to blame for the confusion in many of these tidings as they translate the proper names into their meanings to hide the truth especially if the tidings are talking about Prophet Mohammed.
The Christian missionaries ultimately deny any mention of Prophet Mohammed though they claim that there are references about the rise and the fall of the Soviet Union and some important political figures. How can a holy Book talk about all of these futuristic events then be silent as regard the mention of prophet Mohammed, who changed the course of history?!
However, this prophecy is talking about a certain prophet, who would be hailed " The desire of all nations" and that there would be a new house for worshipping God, the glory of this house would be greater than the former one , which is the Jewish Temple, also the prophecy tells us that the land in which this house lies would be filled with peace.
So we need to know:
Who is that prophet?
What is the house which will be greater?
Where is that land which will be filled with peace?
The prophet meant in this prophecy is prophet Mohammed, Professor Abd Al' Ahd, a former priest and a scientists in the language of the Holy Book, says that the Hebrew Holy Book uses the words" Hamd" or Hamdout" in another version in the place of" the desire of the nations", the word, though proper nouns, is translated into its meaning in the English and Arabic version. Godfrey Higgins says in his book" Apocalypses “ From this root, the pretended prophet Mohammed or Mahomet, had his name.” Sir Hggin says,” Here Mohammed” is expressly foretold by Haggi, and by name; there is no interpolation here. …”
Even the phrase" the desire of the nations" fits Prophet Mohammed more than Jesus because prophet Mohammed was sent to all nations and worlds but Jesus was sent to the House of Jacob. He says:" , I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." ( Matthew 15:24 )
The prophecy tells us about two houses for God, it tells us that the latter will be greater than the former one, the later here is the Holy Mosque in Mekka, it is the Kibble of all the Muslims in the their prayers, Millions of peoples visited it monthly, it is so beautiful, large and it gives a spiritual atmosphere that can be experienced only if you visit it. The former house was no longer there, it was the Temple which was attacked several times till it was completely demolished and annihilated, it is no there , no one knows where it was, so the latter house is filled with more glory , even birds and animals are not allowed to be hunted there.
The prophecy tells us about a land that God would fill with peace; it can't be Jerusalem because Jerusalem had never tasted peace before or after Jesus, the Greek attacked it several times, the Roman attacked it several times before the birth of Jesus and after, he himself foretold the annihilation of the Temple. Jerusalem has never tasted peace until now.
So this prophecy can't be referring to Jesus, Jesus didn't bring any peace to it; he himself was molested several times and was saved from crucifixion.
